Archiving Policy
The Journal of Tourism, Hospitality and Travel Management (JTHTM) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and availability of all published scholarly content. The journal recognizes the importance of digital archiving in maintaining the integrity and continuity of academic publications.
To support long-term digital preservation, JTHTM utilizes the following archiving mechanisms:
-
LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe): JTHTM supports the LOCKSS system to enable participating libraries to create and preserve permanent archives of the journal's published content.
-
CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe): The journal supports digital preservation through the CLOCKSS initiative to ensure continued access to published content in the event that the journal becomes unavailable.
-
PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): JTHTM utilizes the PKP Preservation Network, where available and properly configured, to provide decentralized and secure digital preservation of its published articles.
-
Institutional and Digital Repositories: Published articles may also be deposited in institutional repositories and other recognized digital archives to enhance long-term accessibility and dissemination.
All published articles are assigned persistent digital identifiers (DOIs), where applicable, to facilitate stable identification and citation.
JTHTM is committed to maintaining the availability of its published content and ensuring that scholarly publications remain accessible to researchers, academics, and the wider scientific community over the long term.
