Plagiarism Screening

Manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Tourism, Hospitality and Travel Management (JTHTM) will be screened for plagiarism and self-plagiarism using TURNITIN and Google-based search engines. Then, depending on the originality and similarities with other documents, the managing editor will decide whether to reject the manuscripts, contact authors for further clarifications immediately, or proceed to the blind peer-review process.

The acceptable level of similarity is a maximum of 20%, excluding direct quotes and references.
