Author Guidelines

We welcome original, unpublished manuscripts that align with the journal's focus on the intersections of visual branding and cultural representation. Before submitting your work, please carefully read and follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth submission and review process.
1. Scope of Submissions
We accept submissions that critically engage with visual branding practices through the lenses of culture, identity, design, media, and representation. Suitable submission types include:

Research Articles (6,000–8,000 words)

Theoretical Essays (4,000–6,000 words)
-
Visual Case Studies (with visuals, 3,000–6,000 words)
-
Book or Exhibition Reviews (1,500–2,500 words)
-
Visual Essays (image-driven with commentary, flexible length)
All word counts include references, endnotes, and appendices.
2. Language and Style
-
Manuscripts must be written in English and follow a clear, academic style.

Use inclusive language that respects diversity and cultural sensitivity.
-
Authors should use APA Style (7th edition) for citations and references.
-
Spelling should follow American English conventions.
3. Formatting Requirements

Submit your manuscript in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.

Use 12-point Times New Roman, 1.5 line spacing, and standard margins.

Include the following sections, where applicable:

Abstract (150–250 words)

Keywords (4–6)

Introduction

Main Body (thematic headings encouraged)

Conclusion

References (APA 7th edition)

Figures and Tables (with captions)

4. Visual Materials
-
High-quality images, diagrams, or illustrations are welcome and encouraged.

Submit images in .JPG or .PNG format, at minimum 300 DPI resolution.

Provide captions and proper credit for all visual materials.

Authors must ensure they have the legal right to use and reproduce all images.
5. Submission Process

Authors must create an account and follow the step-by-step instructions.

Only original, unpublished works not under consideration elsewhere will be reviewed.
6. Peer Review and Editorial Decision

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process by at least two independent reviewers.

Review outcomes include: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.

Turnaround time for initial decisions is approximately 6–8 weeks.

Authors will be notified of the editorial decision and any required revisions.
7. Publication and Open Access Policy

This is an open access journal—all articles are freely available to readers worldwide without subscription.

No submission fee is required.
8. Ethical Considerations

Authors must adhere to academic integrity and avoid plagiarism, fabrication, or falsification of data.

All research involving human participants must comply with ethical standards and include relevant approvals or consent.
